The alarm stays on for 1 minute after it is triggered, although it can also be turned off manually from the inside. This ensures that an intruder cannot stop the alarm immediately by simply closing the door again. In addition, the wedge shape of the doorstop ensures that the door is blocked for the intruder and can withstand strong pressure.
